March News update is here. SO many exciting new things are happening. Be sure to register on the right so you do not miss anything. March to me, is associated with my Mother, Motivation to start working out again and new possibilities. St. Paddy’s Day, Easter and my daughter’s birthday are also celebrated in March. It is also about Spring, which I’m always ready for after winter. The dreary, cold, gray, rainy days of February are almost over. Time for new blossoms on the trees and in our hearts. What are you going to do once the weather gets warmer and sunnier? I can’t wait to get back outside for my daily walks. Watching the crocuses, daffodils and tulips pop up give me so much pleasure. Seeing and hearing the birds each morning helps me realize new life has begun again! And golf season is upon us too! One of my favorite places in the world is a beautiful golf course.
March News– It’s about Motivation
Motivation for cleaning closets and getting rid of stuff happens this time of year. We tend to hang on to things during the winter. It could be actual physical stuff or emotions. Sometimes we live in a mindset of ‘fear of lack’ or ‘fear of running out of stuff’. Spring is a great time for new beginnings… Birth of ideas, new goals. Time to go through your clothes, and get rid of what you really do not wear. Make a list of what you want to accomplish this spring and summer! What can you clear out of your life in order to make room for new possibilities this Spring?
March News– Start exercising again
After hunkering down in the winter, we need to get up and get moving again. Our bodies have rested and now are ready to move. Our sinews and tendons need to be stretched. Perhaps a few pounds need to be shed? Plus bathing suit weather is just around the corner! Best to begin now on getting ready for that! Once you start moving, even a little every day… you will feel better and have more energy!
March News–It’s about taking care of yourself
Acupuncture is a great way to help you transition between seasons. Many people have a difficult time moving from one season to the next. The energy is shifting and its not always easy to accept it. This is especially true from winter into spring. If you did not get adequate rest during the winter months, your body may not be ‘ready’ to jump into spring. This can be hard for some folks.
