reasons. First of all the sunshine makes me feel so alive. I have more energy to do things like golf, kayak, walk, garden and sit out on my front porch with a glass of wine at the end of the day. Summertime reminds me of when I was a kid, playing outdoors for hours with my siblings and friends. And also when my own kids were growing up. I think my kids were the last of the “kick the can” and “flashlight tag” era. Do you remember all of those outdoor games you played as a kid? Like Ring toss, Lawn Croquet? Now there is Corn Hole and hacky sack.

Cornhole or bean bag toss is a lawn game in which players take turns throwing bags of corn at a raised platform with a hole in the far end. A bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point. Play with friends and family. Get a contest going! You will have so much fun!

Go kayaking! I am in the process of looking for kayaks. There are many reasonably priced kayaks out there now. I prefer the sit on top style as I am deathly afraid of spiders and snakes and fear they may be lurking inside the ones where you put your legs into. So, order a kayak or two and get out there to start enjoying nature! There are many places that rent also, so you can try it out first to see if it is something you like.
Spoil your skin with natural bath products. After your days in the sun and water, you will need to re-moisturize your skin. These products are amazing and leave your skin feeling clean and refreshed. I especially love the bath butter bombs, the mineral salts and the body butter cream. OH and the lip mend is my new favorite thing! I’ll never use another brand. You will love it.
